In the board meeting held on August 3rd, 2023, personnel changes were announced that will shape the future of the American Society of Shufa Calligraphy Education (ASSCE).
During this session, Professor Huiwen Li announced his well-deserved retirement from the position of President. Professor Li's commitment and tireless efforts have been invaluable to the organization, and we extend our sincerest gratitude for his dedicated service and leadership. In recognition of his enduring contributions, Professor Li will now assume the role of Honorary President and join the Advisory Committee, continuing to provide guidance and wisdom to ASSCE.
With this transition, we are pleased to welcome Professor Nian Liu as the new elected President of ASSCE. Professor Liu brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to this leadership role, and we look forward to the fresh perspectives and initiatives that she will contribute.
Additionally, the board elected Professor Yuan Xu to the role of Executive Director. Professor Xu's expertise and dedication to the field of Shufa Calligraphy Education make him a valuable addition to the leadership team.
